One of my Yo Yo Loaches enjoys sitting in his clay pot. Sadly, he made an attempt at exiting his pot from the little hole on top, instead of the giant hole on the bottom. of course, he didn't fit.
Luckily, it happened right before I got there, and he wasn't struggling for long before I was able to break the pot and free him.
Now he's got a big groove on his back, about a 1/4 inch long, ending at his fin (pretty much where he jammed, so there's a little square notch at the base of the dorsal).
What's the best way to heal him up now? I've got the lights off in there, hoping to try to calm him down. I don't want to transfer him to another tank yet, since he's hiding and freaked now.
Any suggestions would be great, thanks!
