2nd Urchin and possible emerald crab?

I have another urchin that is unidenfied who is carrying around a little suction cup and 2 pics of a crab that I bought at my [acronym:c8b20e29f1="Local Fish Store"]LFS[/acronym:c8b20e29f1]. The crab was in a tank with emeralds and I was told this was an emerald as well but it''s not green?

Expert? Eek - not.

It definitely looks like a Mithrax crab to me (commonly referred to as the Emerald crab). There is a species of Mithrax -- Mithraculus forceps - which is almost identical to the Emerald (Mithraculus sculptus), except that it is brown.

I'd say that's probably what you have!

Yep - in 'theory' , the crab's behavior and diet should be exactly the same as that of the Emerald.
