I have four things I would like to identify. One looks like algae, but assure you it's some sort of nudibranchs, as I've seen it move, eat, and poop. He's the green thing in the centre of the first pic. Another is I'm sure another nudi, (blue with orange tips.) The last two are coral.

Thanks for any help. I have a vid of the first nudi if anyone would like it to further aid in the clarity for identification purposes.

Awesome diversity in your tank! since there are a literal ZILLION types of nudibranch, it's going to be hard to make out which they are. I will say that the green one eats nothing but algae!
Don't know about the others.
Where did you get your rock?

How about this for pic 2...

Stupid phone didn't post my reply. But yes, orange guy is a nudi. Keep an eye on it to determine what it eats. There are so many of them it is almost impossible to track all of them. But agreed with Doug, your rock is amazing.

Just a local pet store in Calgary (where I reside) called Pisces. The rocks are from Fiji and Jakarta. I got another that came with about 6 anemones as well. Lucked out; however another came with a rock crab, that ate a rather large anemone one came with. We returned the rock crab the next day. They do get fantastic rocks with excellent diversity. I found another nudi today and wound up with about 6 starfish.

Wow! Just wow! In most stores, one is lucky to get rock with worms, mini brittles, and some algae on it! That's an amazing find! I'm afraid I can't be much help identifying because they aren't species I've come across before. But I'm jealous!

I know right? The last pic almost looks like it wants to be a duncan or a trumpet coral...just never seen either with such fine string like things coming off of it.

Three of them are hard to take pics of cuz the tank is bow front and there's too much distortion. But there are purple ones, green ones and even some "buttons" and polyps.

Those are majano anemones. they are considered pests like aptasia anemones and are eradicated the same way.

All the things I see on those rocks are anemones as far as I can tell. touch the questionable ones and if they retract into the crevices in the rock, they are anemones, and not palythoa.

I'll look into getting rid of them then. I don't need another pest in my tank. The reason I don't have fish pics is I just dealt with brookynella. :( I think the green one is a starfish. But I don't know. Those are pretty much the things that came with the live rock. I still have to get another 15 more lbs to finish off the tank so I'm looking forward to more weird critters.

I found out that the green thing was. It's a sea hare. Could be a potential problem if it dies.

Oh. Thanks good to know. He's very small though. Like an inch. They can grow almost a foot from what I've read up on them.
