A zoo perhaps?

I did some digging and the closest I can come is a zoo of some sort perhaps? This bunch was non existent until I added the 65w PC's to my tank... they've been getting steadily bigger since!

any thoughts?

What color are they?

They look like yellow polyps that I have.

They are a dark green, and some of the bigger polyps have a bright light green center.

the overall structure is very similar... what makes this difficult for me, being still yet inexperienced in identification, is that the entire clump in the picture i posted, is about 1" total. Each polyp is barely bigger than the tip of a pencil. They will retract if something gets too close to it, leaving a light green carpet with darker green spots where all the polyps have receeded into it.
