Hi fishy folk,

I have a new bi-valve of some sort that must have come in on a piece of rock. It was crawling (sliding?) around on the "not so live" rock when I noticed it. I can tell the shell is definately bi-valve and it has a bright white body that it was using to pull the shell around. It is about 1/2 inch long. My questions are 1. What is it? 2. Will it pose any danger to the other fish?
I've attached pics.
Thanks!

My guess would be 1 of the rock boring clams, maybe barnea truncata. I've had them in my live rock.
