Anemone Crab turning brown?

my white anemone crab was textbook white with spots. now he is turning brown. i assume algae growing all over? anyone have any ideas? im over my quota for pics so it wont let me post any. sorry.

I wouldn't be rdy maybe its close to molting.. relax chime in , in a few days.

+1 sounds like a molt. Also if you go on a computer you can "manage attachments" and remove old pics to allow new ones.

thanks for tips. i hope a molt is all it is. looks more like a dark slime covering the top of his body. hope it goes away, he looked very cool.

good call. got a call from the wife this morning. shed his skeleton and looks great again!!

my emerald crab is almost 6 months in my tank and pretty big and hearty. still has never shed his skeleton. looks crusty, my shrimp seem to shed every other week!
