Maybe these pictures would help. Anyone know what this is? It's the only algae present in my DT. It comes off easy but I don't know if this algae is beneficial to the tank.

Yeah thats what it is (obviously) has a fairly unique look.
I had some in my tank at one point but it got eaten!
