Found this in the bottom of my cave, looks a bit like a feather duster type thing but the wormy bit looks flat like a leech, any ideas folks?

Looks like the empty tube of a feather duster. Have you seen the worm come out at all?

Not seen anything coming out, since I spotted it my fire shrimp has taken it round the back of the tank and is furiously picking at it :-/

Better picture, I have poked it and it moves, there is another one and that moves too.

That is the worm of a feather duster, he's left home for some reason,
Leave him be and he he might make another tube, failing that he's a gonna
