I was looking at my tank last night and noticed these little guys. The pictures aren't great, but these things are about the size of a fire ant. I poked one and it curled up like a polyp. It didn't disappear into the live rock. Just curious if anyone could give me an idea of what it is. It's in the center of the picture.

A worm is the only thing I've been able to rule out. There's only 3 of them that I found in my tank so far. Two are in that picture, but they are still so small that I can't get a good picture of them. I was thinking maybe aiptasia or maybe a polyp. It looks a lot like the yellow polyp I have, except it's transparent and the tentacles make up about half it's overall length

If they look like a baby anemone it's probably aptasia.

Get pepper ment shrimp or hump back whatever the little. Ones are they eat that ****

Have poked it? Polyps will make a little ball on top when poked and aptasia will fold in on itself nearly disappearing.
