Any ideas? - Aquarium Advice

I have noticed some white "things" behind my powerheads and in my skimmer chamber. They are about the size of a grain of rice...they are shapped almost like a football with a little crown on top. I saw something about calcium worms??? Is this what they could be? I know its hard to tell without a pic, but I don't have a digital camera. Thanks

I think thats prolly what it is. I have just noticed in the last week i have em all over my glass too.

that would be my best guess.

If it looks like a small white pineapple, it is most likely a scypha cilliata sponge

hey thanks!!! i have had those in my tank too and have been trying to find a pic for weeks now [acronym:23774530ac="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:23774530ac] was scared to post about it cuz i couldnt figure out the best words to describe it lol

thats what they look like! Any advantages to having them? Are they signes of anything good or bad? I would assume they are good!
