Any Ideas

For some reason I am having trouble posting tonight so if 3 of the same posts show up I am sorry. Any Ideas what this is. It is growing on one of my rocks and is spreading. It feels like a gel more than anything. It is more of a whitish/yellow or even clear color. The pick kind of shows is more yellow. It doesn't seem to bother anyone. Any Ideas????? Thanks Happy Holidays.

Sorry, I don't know the species and really don't know any site that offer alot of info on hitchiking encrusting sponges. Maybe someone else can help with that.

Sponges in general are filter feeders so they wont require any real care or direct feeding.
