asked this ? before but need second opinion

a couple of members of this form said this was a Jasmine Polyp. but my research shows that a Polyp only has 8 tentacles, this has 24 tentacles per bud-thingy. i respect your opinion Sniperhank and greenturtle but just what to know what this is if not a Polyp. Thanks so much.

Cup Coral, Pagoda

This is the closest I could find to what it looks like but mine is much fuller, and not any of the colors listed

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

Carey may be right. I have a purple one that stays kind of close like that. My green one has stalks that are very extended.

I agree with Ricksreef, looks like a Flower Pot Coral - True Red (Goniopora sp.). I have a small one in my tank. When not extended, it looks like a porous red rock. Kinda like lava rock. I've included some pics of mine if it helps.
