ball sponge?

So I've had this pouch things in my tank for a while. There is 3 that started out as one on one side of the tank and one on the other side. They are a greenish gray color and resently turning brown. I've never paid to much attention to them but I found ball sponges while trying to learn more about keeping them in my tank. Does anyone think they are ball sponges or know what they are? They are the wrong color from the info that I found but I understand that doesn't mean much.

Those are definitely sponge. They come in all shapes and colors.

So since these are doing good is it safe to say I could keep another sponge?

Yes and no. Those typically found as hitchhikers on rock tend to be pretty hardy. The designer sponges need perfect water quality, perfect flow, and in general are very very hard to keep.
