Better pic - gorilla or porcelin crab???

Looks like a Percnon gibbesi or Sally lightfoot, but not quite the right coloration and markings on carapace.

Definitly not a porselin but I say flush it because all drains lead to the ocean so he'll be fine

I'm sure your kidding. Mine leads to a concrete coffin in the back yard. He would never survive the chemicals put in the water between your toilet and the ocean.

I say set up a little 10 gal. unwanted hitchhiker tank and let them fight it out for dominance. That's what I did and it's almost as entertaining as the other tanks. I hate to kill things just to kill them, but that's just me.

all crabs are not bad.. he is definately not a porcelain crab, looks more like a mithrax crab to me. Emerald mithrax crabs will eat the heck out of green bubble agae....

I am with jhmuse on this one. I have a little 10 Gal setup just for little critters like this.
