Big Worm (Alien?)
I recently discovered some sort of large worm thingy in my tank. I haven't had any fish in my tank for about 6 months because I had some major algae issue that killed everything off. I've left the lights off in my tank for those past 6 months to kinda let everything "start over". I was walking past my tank tonight and saw a weird worm sticking out of the live rock. It was white at the base, but black at the tip. It appeared to be siphoning stuff out of the sand. It was about 1/4 inch thick and about 4 inches long or more. I've attached some pictures. What the heck is this thing.

Oh, ok. I looked around at other threads about peanut worms and I wasn't sure if this was one as well. Thanks for the answer!

I agree, I found one a year after I set up my tank. Good stuff!

Well, the so-called "experts" might say it's a peanut worm, but if you ask me...
