Bright Green Weirdness :)

Any idea what this is folks ? It's about 5mm long attached to one of my live rock. Just noticed it a few days back and I have not noticed any movement or change in size thus far .... strange looking thing !!

It's a calcareous Macro Algae commonly called Club Algae.

Scientific name is Neomeris annulatus, another common name is caterpillar weed, although I like to call it gummy worm algae
