I feed mine pieces of raw shrimp every 3 days. I used my grabber for my tank. It loves to eat and has really grown since I have had it. Feeding is highly suggested esp if you just have t5s.

I have never heard feeding stresses them. Seems like if it caused stress then it wouldn't eat.
I would assume over feeding like everything else in the hobby could cause problems.
 
T5's have nothing to do with if you should or should not feed. I have T5's over my 55g and its been almost a year since I fed mine last. Mine got so large I stopped feeding it hoping it would stop growing. Anemones demand lots of light and will not survive well under less.
 
I have seen many references that anemones need more food with lower light conditions. I'm not saying t5s alone won't support one but it would benefit from feeding in lower light conditions. T5s are much less intense than say metal halides in most cases.
