Mercury64 has fishy dreams
bugs????????????

OK this is a new one on me
My daughter is always looking at my tank for me, sometimes a good thing sometimes a bad thing but she does tend to notice every little thing
Today she calls me to tell me theres bugs all over the bottom of my tank, I asked what kind of bugs, she says small or even smaller then ants and white looking, what is this??????????????????

Sounds like amphipods and/or copepods. Mostly good guys. Signs of a healthy system and a great source of food for many "hard to feed" bottom dwellers.

Livestock I added:

1 skunk cleaner. 12 hermits: red, scarlet, blue. 15 or so assorted snails. Discosomas, Ricordia, Rhodactis mushroom corals, chaetomorpha (sump), 1 feather duster, Montipora digitata, Montipora capricornis, Montipora hispids. assorted zoos, Xenia, Kenya tree coral, green Sinularia, green star polyps, branching hammer coral, bubble coral, Devil's hand leather. Yellow chromis, purple firefish.

Hitchhikers: the usual suspects :crabs, bristles, urchin, mantis shrimp (now in exile in mantis tank)

List of possible/likely newcomers:

Feather duster. PJ cardinal, Bangghai cardinal, Firefish goby, Clownfish, Neon goby, Yellow watchman goby, Orchid dottyback. Various corals.

thank you, you've both made me happy, I was thinking I broke out with some new alien form of things that was going to take over my tank
