Your posted pic looks like a species of clove polyp.

No way is that even close to a lobophytum spp leather...

Here are my guesses starting with the one I think is most likely:
Cornularia.sp
Clavularia.sp
Tubipora.sp (not likely)

Clavularia.sp is the winner!

I got an email saying that the code is what he ships by and scoo1 was
the clav, not the green devils hand.

Well, his website shows differently...no mistaking the code on the page
i linked to above.

Geez, I would be dissapointed if that is what I got - vs. what was shown on the page. I hope this will be taken care of for you (that leather looked really beatiful!).

Hmmm, what is he going to do about the accidentally on purpose sending of the wrong coral?

Well, Blane called me at work and the mistake was due to the fact that two corals have the same code on his website. Unfortunately, the green devils hand is gone.

The coral I received was a green and pink clav from the selects page

http://www.thesea.org/captivesystems...e=selectp4.asp
I will be reimbursed shipping costs when fedex coughs up the money..and
I imagine, have a store credit..not sure on the last part yet.
