Thank you, how do I get rid of it, my colt coral that is attached is now laying over

Pull it out and throw it in your sump. It's a good algae.

Edit. Probably is what's makin it lean over.

Looks like it. Might be constricting it??? Try to gentle pull the algae away from them. Might need STERILE snippets to cut the algae away. Hard to see. Can you put up a few more pics in different angles?

I pulled a bunch out of my starburst polyps. I wish I had known it was good algae at the time. I thought it was bubble algae. If it shows up again will it survive in the dark? My sump doesn't have a refrugium.

No all algae needs light. Check eBay or Craigslist for one of those little clip in LED lights.
