Question Can someone help me identify this?

I noticed this growing in my tank a while ago and i really want to figure out what it is. Can someone tell me?

I tend to agree with Innovator...a better pic would help but it does look like a sponge

That is a sponge for sure...nothing to worry about they help filter your water...you will find more and more of them as your tank matures...
