I got this from a friend that was taking his tank down. He does not remember the name of it. I'm not sure how to take care of it. When you turn the lights out it pulls all of its arm in and looks like a bread stick.

I say a sea pen also... They need a DSB and they will retract all the way into the SB at night. Not a easy coral, well at least for me it was not easy.. :(

Here is a pic of it closed up. See looks like a bread stick. It has a foot that it digs in the crush coral with. It has moved about 4 or 5 inches away from where i put it.

Thanks for all the help. I feed everything else in the tank mysis shrimp, do you think that will be ok for the sea pen or do i need to feed it something else?

you need to bury it in the CC, IMO they need sand but it may do ok in the CC?
they are filter feeders so shrimp won't do the job.
you may want to trade it in the the LFS, I had one and I was feeding the tank liquid life coral plankton. bio plankton and cyclopeeze and it did not last long...
