Candy Coral?

What coral is this? Got it from my friend i think its a candy coral but im not sure

Candy cane coral, yep. LPS, medium light

That piece is in need of some TLC though

I live candy canes! They are beautiful and fir me care is quite easy! I put mine under metal halides and a healthy flow of water and they have been fine for years

Lol oh ok i thought you ment something else lol yea he dint have strong lighting so he gave it to me cause i just got some T5 HO lights. Hopefuly they will regroup!!

Most people refer to it as a Trumpet coral. LA says "The Trumpet Coral is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral often referred to as the Trumpet, Torch, Candy, or Bullseye Coral. Here is that link in detail.
