Clam type thingy....please help id

Ok, got this clam looking thing that will open and close. It's body is encrusted into the LR. But it has two opennings that look like tubes almost. He came on my gulf rock. Any ideas as to what he is? TIA

Clam for sure, looks like a turkey wing clam. Pretty typical hitchhikers on gulf rock. They are very hardy animals. Mine survived my initial cycle and just recently, almost three years later I lost one. No real involvement on your part is necessary for it to survive. I never fed them and they do fine.
