My protein skimmer wasn't working very well so I decided to take it apart and clean it. Upon disassembly, I found probably 40 clear little "bugs" with no other obvious coloration to them. Are these amphipods or something I should worry about? They almost looked slug like, and the closest thing I could find on the web was a type of pod. I should have taken a picture but I didn't. Also, I posted a few other pictures. I'm pretty sure the one is just a harmless feather duster, but the other brown one I'm stumped on.

If these are a type of a pod, how do they end up in one's reef tank? Thanks!

I agree with Hank. Meanwhile , pods of all sorts come in on live rock and also the addition of pieces of coral. Those tiny creatures are nothing to worry about.
