Also found this on my live rock. Again with the conditions in my tank at the moment while it cycles I am amazed anything is alive. Every now and again something pops out of this weird looking thing and then goes back in. Any ideas what it is?

That's awesome. I have something alive In my tank. Well that and the worms from the other thread. How do I make it come all the way out? It only comes slightly out. Does it need to be light, dark etc?

Sorry for all the questions. So new to all of this.

Looks like those red tube worms. I have a few on my live rock. They never actually leave the tube and do no harm.
