Hmmmmm...maybe bc it's new?? The filtration is the 3-stage that came with it... sponge, carbon and those porous loops that hold bacteria? It's a Fluval Edge.

It's an AC20 if you wanted to know. Made by Hagen/Fluval so they used it on the tank.

Also my GF has the tank with the white mr11's, much better looking. A great crisp bright white. By the way, did you order them off of Amazon by chance?

Keep us updated, there isn't a ton of edges around the internet that haven't been modded beyond recognition. Much less one that runs purely on the LEDs, I'm excited to see how strong they actually are.

Some of these were taken with a T5 in addition to the warm (140k) Mr11 LEDs. I bought them (yes, some on Amazon) before I knew I'd want the pure white (160k). Those need to be shipped yet. I will be sticking with LEDs on this though. No extreme modding (until my next)!

I got the Koralia nano 240 gph today! Stirred up quite a mess a first! The bright white LEDs should be here Sat maybe? Better start a showcase thread!

Thanks! Perhaps it's the Fluval Edge design? That's what got me. I think my aquascape is pretty good though!

Right now nowhere. Dont have a saltie. My 30 gallon fresh will be posted once I get the algae out of the water column. I really don't want a uv sterilizer.

Will do I really don't like the look of my tank right now anyways. The plants were eaten by my crayfish and the aquascaping sucked. I really like the baby mollies though!
