Coral id please !

Hi can someone ID this coral for me please. It looks like gsp but it's pinky in colour and was told it goes green when it grows, I got this large piece for £5 at my local lfs, thanks !

Yeah looks like either green or brown star polyps. The middle bit will glow a bit more and they tend to go either a little greener or browner in appearance. £ 5 sounds like a bargain!

He said he had a little bit for £5 but he couldn't find it so he gave us this pretty large mat of it. He had some larger bits that was bright green and he said that it this will go green when it grows too.

Those are star polyps. They will grow like crazy. But will look awesome. If you want to spread them faster, cut it like paper and super glue it.
