Hi Guys,

Yesterdy I started my tank cycle yesterday.

This morning i woke up to find this little critter on the live sand chilling.

Any body have an idea of what it might be?

He has lots of white legs down both sides of his body and moves like a worm.

Is he good or bad?

thanks for your time guys

Andi

Looks like a bristle worm. I like them in my tank they are a great clean up crew and come free with rocks. This is a great site for helping id the things that show up Live Rock Hitch Hikers

I agree. Sounds like a bristle worm. Do not handle these as they have spines that release a toxin and will give quite a sting. However, many species of bristle worm are good to have in the tank. They eat detritus and left over food that your other creatures miss. I have a healthy community of them in my tank and I rarely see a nitrate.

Thanks guys. It's the only thing in there at the mo and I've been watching it for ages lol

As the tank slowly clears I have found one of the rocks has this green polypy looking coming from it. Can you ID it. I'll put the pick up below. If not I'll post it again on the ID forum
