Yep. That looks just like the sand bed in our 50. lol

What and how often do you feed now? Describe your current light cycle too.

Also, tell me of your water movement. Powerheads?

My light (Coralife 50/50) is on a timer for 9.5 hrs a day.

The feeding is kind of irregular because the tank is at my work. Some days it's twice a day, others just once and occasionally they'll get fed every other if I'm not around.
What I feed is any combination of pellet, flakes, mysis, brine, or spirulina brine marinated in garlic.
About once a week I'll chop up a raw shrimp w/ garlic or sinking pellet for the inverts.
It's a 90g with 2 clowns and 1 Tang so I only PWC about 10g a month.

I'd say don't worry about specifically feeding the inverts... they'll find food from the leftovers. The sinking pellets are probably directly fueling the stuff.

And yeah... looks like cyano to me too.

I knew it probably was adding to the problem, but it always seems like the fish manage to eat everything while it's suspended and the inverts seem to charge right after the pellets...lol.
Anyways,
I'll stop directly feeding the inverts...maybe Christmas morning I'll sink a pellet for them...lol
Think the lights are on too long? (9.5 hours)
