dangerous worm?

this guy is huge! three or 4 inches. red with white spikes along his side.

no more than three minutes after I dropped the shrimp in to start my cycle he grabbed it and dragged it to his hole.

Is he dangerous to fish and shrimp? is he dangerous to inverts?

Not to worry...it's a bristleworm....a common hitchhiker that comes on LR. They usually aren't a problem unless they get really large. They can cause some irritation if you touch them as their little "hairs" will stick in you. They are good detrius eaters.
