Description only : Smoking Worm?

I bought a new pod of Star polyps today with an interesting brown smoking worm hitchhiking along... Any ideas on what it could be? He doubled himself over and started smoking at the bend....

Sounds like a peanut worm. Since they burrow into rock, it could just be expelling debris. There is also a chance it's trying to procreate....
