So several weeks ago i noticed these small white snails that come out after dark, did some digging and determined these are either the dreaded pyramid snails or the good rissoids. I decide to watch their behavior and figure out what is up. I have 5 turbo snails in my tank so of now, and from what I've seen these small white snails leave them alone. The white snails are nocturnal, live in the sand, eat algae like there is no tomorrow, cruise the glass eating algae and I've only seen like three on my astra snail.

No, pyramid snails eat inverts like clams and other snails. You will find them on the foot of a clam and in soft areas of snail shells. They don't live in the sand or consume algae.
