Fast moving critter in the night

I saw this *thing*. It was about 1/4" long and somewhat narrow swimming around my tank at light speed last night after lights out. It was an hour or so after lights out and I hit my tank with a flashlight to check on my night critters and saw this thing blazing around my tank. It was cream colored and wouldn't stay still long enough for me to determine if it was segmented or if it had "legs" let alone get a picture. It was not shrimp-like in appearances. More worm like, really (except can worms swim?).

Probably not enough to go on, but I thought I'd throw it out there to see if it was common enough that others would know.

[acronym:5fd19e8e68="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:5fd19e8e68] Some worms do swim. Could have been a worm or perhaps some type of flatworm.

I thought "self, I wonder if Fluff has responded yet" [acronym:2ed77023f9="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:2ed77023f9]! Thank you all knowing Fluff *bows*!

Eek! Not the dreaded Flatworm! Aren't they supposed to be a menace to [acronym:2ed77023f9="Saltwater"]SW[/acronym:2ed77023f9] aquaria?! Given that worms can swim (ok) I would definitely say worm. Are flat worms really flat?

Well, yeah, flatworms are flat but not all are dreaded menaces. lol Flatworms are cool, just some can reproduce very quickly and can irritate corals. I wouldn't worry much either way. Most worms are harmless.
