Found this in my tank help

can someone plz id this thing for me some people telling me its a nudabrance i did look online and cant find one that even looks like this thing its seems to come out at night i only seen in twice once b4 and the second when i took the pics thnks

It's a polyclad flatworm. Not a nudibranch.Oh and important note: they eat snails.

Ron Shimek's Website... Flatworms here is where I found the stuff about the polyclad. It's near the middle and matches up with your worm almost to a T.

So, in saltwater how does stuff just get in your tank like that?

You get it from live rock or corals which are often wild harvested.

That picture of it is aweful big for a polyclad flatworm.

I've heard they get anywhere from 3-4" and even bigger in the wild. It looks to be about 3".

I'm not sure but I don't think it's a flatworm. Looks to have to much body mass. Not just the so called flat of a "flatworm".

the thing is huge and it's also pretty cool looking if it eat snails let it thats a unique find you cant buy that in a fish store, i could be wrong though.
