Found this on my dry rock

I found this clearish structure on my dry rock while cleaning it. It's hard. Is it something I should chip away or just leave it?Click image for larger version

Because a lot of polychaete tube worms make their shells out of calcium and organic material. But I don't know if that's it for sure. Just a guess
