Bad crab, I don't know the type but I have learned that big claws with black tips means bad news

Rule of thumb I enjoy is if its hairy no go if not good to go.. was this a new piece of rock have you added some recently if not I think your safe

Put a piece of shrimp in a tall glass and lean it against a rock. You'll get him by morning.
