I'm seeing lots of stuff, so maybe a hint of what you want IDed if I don't guess correctly!

Pics 1 & 2 look like some type of bivalve... a clam or mussel of some sort?

Pic 3 looks like a rock covered with feather dusters.

sorry the first pic i was talking about the red stuff on top of the rock.. ill be taking some more pictures shortly.

also will any of this survive the cycle?

Theres about a dozen TINY i mean .5-1mm in width maybe 3 cm long coming out of some crevisis... are theres serpant stars?... way too small for a noob like me to take a picture of.... but if someone has a picture for me to compare too i could match it.

-Brad

it doesnt look anything else in the tank. the feather dusters are yellowy and grey color this thing is black and white... indentical coloring to the limbs of the brittle star on that link

are this many feather dusters good for it?... every piece of live rock has anywhere from 30-100 of them on them... all different sizes from 1 little piece waving to 30+ pieces waving.

i already removed that algae... anything else i should remove... is that muscle benifical?

The red stuff looks like it could be branched coralline nice find , harmless could also be sponges , are they soft or hard . Soft = sponge , hard = branched coralline IMO..
The bivalve harmless filter feeder . May or may not survive , they pull stuff from the water colmn to eat ...
The others were mushrooms ...low flow low light or medium light ..
The others sound like mini brittle stars harmless eat ditritus here is a pic of them

they are all hard... are the bivalves the bigger empty tubes?

the 2 mushrooms are about 6-8 inchs away from the light... a 3rd one is developing on the same rock... will this hurt them... also you can see them moving due to the power head... should i move it?

-Brad

The bivalves are the seashell looking things .
The pink ones you ask I believe are branching coralline it is a type of algea (good )
You dont need to move the power head they will move to where they want to tho you can redirect it to see if that helps :)
They are having baby shrooms , this can be caused by stress as well as good perameters , but will not harm your existing ones ;)

heres a couple more

what is this guy?

hard to tell from pics
pic 1 ?
pic 2 kenya tree ?
pic 3 peanut worm
pic 4 closed zoas
:D

pic one is just a distant shot of the same "kenya tree" thing

is it common for a peanut worms to move all over the tank?. one morning they are on the big rock... next they are on the other..

sorry for the crappy pictures... do you have a picture of a kenya tree for me to compare?

-Brad

yeah thats those.... they are all over the peice of rock.... they look like little feather dusters but dont move.... are they good or bad... good im guessing if someones selling them lol

-Brad

They can get out of control if your not careful to remove any dropped branches ,I had those in my tank it seemed it would drop a branch every week I ended up selling back to the LFS and giving away ..:D

cool... i dont know if big als will take them but im sure theres a few people around here that like free stuff lol

is it normal for them to be all over a piece of rock... the rock is actually a piece of dead hard coral... but its covered completely with them... should i be concerned?
