Got this coral for $5

Those look like my nuclear green zoa's. good rock for $5. Most likely harvested from the ocean as a lot of these seem to be.

I don't think it's one of those, they look more like a button polyp.

Keep Magnesium, Alkalinity and calcium up and they should spread well. Keep the phosphates down too.... And be sure to share with your friends.

Regular PWC's and light are all they need. I feed mine once a month and they grow like weeds to feed cut a water bottle in half place the top half over the Zoo's and squrit some Roto's in with a turkey baster this keeps the food in one place and makes shure they get there fill

you don't ever have to feed them anything. zoanthids cannot catch rotifers. just keep the water clean.

Nice find. I have been watching craigslits in my area and there are alot of hobbyists offering frags for $5-7. Maybe I can get lucky too.

They look like they are recovering nicely in your tank. Post an update laters, I am curious what colours will come out
