green stick growth on rocks?

anyone know what this is. it is spreading all over my live rock. it is hard .but snaps off easy. it also gives off spider web strings at the tips,some get 6in long

Ther are detrivors/filterfeeders. Not good or bad, just are.

agreed, i have some in my tank as well. Just another cool thing that sprang out of the rock

thanks all. i put this piece all the way on top near the light for a couple days, seem to slow the growth. so its back on the bottom where it was.

the worms don't need light, thier filter feeders, try to provide moderate to high water flow, and feeding them plankton will help when the "nets" are out, but in a healthy tank feeding should be unnecisary but helpful. calcium should also help growth because of thier shells, but again they will grow in a healthy tank without any extra supplements.
