Green Stuff on Rock.

Cant figure out what this green stuff is. Can anyone help me out.

It's a kind of algae.

The purple next to it is coralline algae. It's good stuff.

Ya Ive been adding a coralline boost and its been working quite well. Coralline is growing everywhere.

Nice good to hear. BTW whats in that coralline boost? As a guess:
Ground up coralline.
Calcium.

Definitely interested in whatever the boost is. I've tried getting scrapings from a LFS and putting them in the tank and still not one bit of coralline .

Where did you put them Krypt? If you place it in front of a powerhead and let it go it will land on and attach to rocks and start growing.

Sorry, the name of the product is PurpleUp. It's ionic calcium and 10 micron aragonite. Works very well.

What is your Alk, CA and Lighting? You should not need to buy a supplement to get coraline to grow.
