Anyone know what these things are? They started growing around a month and a half ago. They seem to be growing very slow. I keep expecting them to open up, or do something, but they just stay the same. Definatly have grown as of lately though!!

Thanks for any ideas mates!!!

They will stay the same shape just get bigger. It's called caterpillar weed, Neomeris annulata.

Cheers
Steve

Hey, any idea if they also come in brown? I have had this one brown bendy tube-thing that my husband and I just refer to as "the penis thing" :p
It doesn't seem to grow, but it bends toward the light sometimes.

Huh!!! wow, I just notice the exact same little guys growing on my LR about a week or so ago, there's 2 or 3 of them.

They're so visible because they are really flourescent green.

Weird!

I second that, thanks for the ID steve s.

Well I guess you can't say p-e-n-i-s in this forum.... which doesnt'really make sence because this is a sort of scientific forum... anyway, the picture of the p-e-n-i-s thing can be seen in my recent post "velvet stuff losing slime coat & mystery phallus". Hope that is a good enough pic...
