I have "flea" like creatures in my tank...they're white though - they're all over the sand and glass...about the size of the tip of a pen. My frogfish I think may be affected by these creatures, he's obtained some mucus like substance around his mouth :(

They're too small to get a picture of, but they look like white fleas....any ideas??? are they beneficial or deadly?

I have a feeling they're COPEPODS, but I hope they're not affecting my frogfish :X

I would assume you are referring to copepods or amphipods likely the former. Copepods are typically much smaller while amphipods get a good bit larger. If they are in fact pods of one form or another they shouldn't have any negative effect on your frogfish. In fact most fish prefer them as natural food source.
