Sorry for the quality need help i bought a live rock and these came on it they look like little clams with a tong that comes out and grabs foo what are they and are they good bad or other!!!!!!

Someone more experienced in sw can help more, but they look like barnacles, to me anyway.

I dont think they are bad. they filter feed.

I cant tell. It could be zoa`s or button polyps closed up. Better pic is needed. BTW moved to the SW ID forum.

They look like closed zoa. maybe dead.

If they have little "fingers" that come out and sweep the water and go back into the hole they are barnacles. Deadly little things......to phytoplankton

no dought about it, you have baby barnacles , very cool ! THEY ARE SMALL PARTICAL FEEDERS. just curious are the sweeper colorful or are thy transparent ?

I would say they are Barnacles

sweepers are red is pink and they are still living
