okay i found two of these black thing sitting in my sand what is it

Looks like a Japanese beetle.

Would need a much closer pic to even take a guess.

So it's kinda hard and doesn't have a visible foot or opening? Just trying to get a little more info...

it looks like it could have an opening on the darker part of the end

What does the underneath look like? I think it might be a bug that fell into the tank....

its not a bug its a oval shaped sac or egg
