Hi,

I bought this coral from my LFS but cannot remeber what it was called. Does anyone know?

I also wondered what typical behaviour these have? And how much light they need?

Any advice or information would be much appreciated.

Thanks em :D

Looks like a mushroom after dropping anchor! ;-)

I had some mushrooms that looked like that, except for the large gaping mouth.
Where was it in the LFS tank? High up? Low? Under what kind of lighting? High flow? ect...

Was it pricey? If not, probably a mushroom.

It has a foot, but only put it in the tank yesterday so haven't seen it move. When I got it from my lfs it was at the bottom, was still the same colour tho. Wasn't expensive either.

I want to agree to agree with dannyb.. i think it's a nem. Maybe your LFS sold you a dying nem.. sad to say.. because i've never seen a coral that looks like that besides a plate coral.. and even then.. the plate coral doesn't look similar to what's in that picture.
