HITCH HIKERIDENTIFICATION

i bought some ruble live rock to fill the voids in my tank and it looks like i picked up about 6 or 7 hitchhikers they like anenomes they are very small none larger than a dime with a c threw bottom that it attaches it self and then its tentacles are spinny looking and brown what is the name of this hitchhiker and is it a good or bad suprise thank you

It might be Aptasia and they are bad. Can you show us a photo?

sounds exactlly like aiptasia.

The aptasia can be a nuisance. They will not harm fish but can sting corals. The main problem is that they spread quickly and will take over a tank in no time. I have a peppermint shrimp which controls them in my tank. You can also purchase "joes juice" to kill them off.
