Looks like a red emerald crab to me. My LFS had sum of this color w/ their green ones. I'm still new at identifying so I may b wrong but that's what I think it is.

Looks just like an emerald crab, except for it not being green. I would guess it isn’t bad at all. Should eat up any detritus in your tank and just hang out in the rocks.

Well, I didn't want to take the chance in case it turned out to be something fun like a Sally Lightfoot. So, my poor little crab death encountered death by the rock he came with and is right now buried in the local landfill 
Besides, I just added a dead shrimp so the tank can cycle.
