The advice I was given is: if it's got claws, keep it out. I'm still working on getting the last 1 or 2 of my hitchhiker crabs. Good luck!

I have to believe that the advice that you got was if it had *black tipped claws* take it out. Not all stuff with claws is bad. My porcelain crabs and pistol shrimp both have claws and both cool to have!

Well I recognize that I'm probably overly cautious in this area. 'Hiker crabs that I couldn't identify, I removed.

I just got what I thought was my last out last week, then gave it to my Mantis as a treat.

Black tip claws are bad.
