Hitchhiker Starfish ID

I have noticed this starfish the past week or so. I did not add it specifically so it must have hitchhiked in awhile ago on Liverock or coral. It is about 3/4" across. Is it reef safe?

Good question. . . It is pretty hard to tell from that pic, but it does somewhat resemble a chocolate chip star fish which are not reef safe. IMO I would remove it.

It very well could be. It is tan with darker spots. I will pull it out the next time I see it. Thanks for the ID!

Finally saw this guy again after 2 weeks of waiting. I plucked him off the glass and put him in the sump.
